Macclesfield Girls Rugby Macclesfield girls have held their first Awards Evening. Erica Wood came away with the Players Player Award and leading Try Scorer, while Abi Hargreaves was voted Supporters Player of the Year. With less than twelve months experience the under 14s have competed in their first season of festivals and are now preparing for the future with a player recruitment drive and fund raising events. The girls’ team, together with the recently formed women’s team train every Tuesday at Macclesfield RUFC.
