A & E Have an Emergency of Their Own.

Over a sixth of visitors to A & E in Macclesfield aren't being seen to in an appropriate time, it has been revealed.

Accident and Emergency are struggling to meet their targets - 98% should be seen within the first 4 hours of checking in, but at Macclesfield hospital they are only achieving 85%, making them well under target.

However, despite this blow, figures are on the rise again, will just over 95% being seen to in the 4 hour slot in April.
