Age Concern is the UK's largest charity working with, and for, older people. Their mission is to make life for older people the best in possibly can be, by offering help and support to the elderly to make later life enjoyable and fullfilling. The principles of the charity underpin what the charity does, and why it does it. They believe ageism is unacceptable, that older people have the right to make their own decisions and those who are less able to help themselves should be offered the support they need.

Age Concern East Cheshire is an independent charity and a member of the larger Age Concern organisation. The charity depends on local fundraising, donations and volunteers to continue the work Age Concern currently do.
