New Junior Football Club Formed

Inter Macc Junior Football Club is a new junior football club, based at Macclesfield Rugby Club.  Inter Macc JFC provides community football for children in Macclesfield and the surrounding area. 

Darren Provost who is in charge of the new Club said “We have a fantastic group of youngsters.  The children have played some friendly matches, which has been great fun and there have been some great performances. “

Inter Macc also run an Academy which is a fantastic and exciting opportunity for children between 5 and 7 years of age.  The Academy gives children a chance to have fun and play games, not just football.  The Academy takes place on a Saturday morning between 10am and 12pm at the rugby club.  Facilities include FA accredited coaches, Astroturf and grass pitches.  The children are given the opportunity to have a fun induction to football, leading into formal team structures and league games.

Darren adds “The purpose of the Inter Macc Academy is to eventually provide a positive and influential progression to the Under 8’s teams each year.  The Academy will provide a sound basis for future Inter Macc teams.  All children are given the chance to try football in an environment that stimulates their natural talents.”
