Care Home Staff Notch up Qualifications

Staff from Tunnicliffe House care home in Macclesfield triumphed recently in a series of short courses at Macclesfield College.
Team Leader Charmain Byrom attended the courses in Emergency First Aid, Health & Safety in the Workplace and Food Safety to develop her career prospects and on completion she praised the friendly atmosphere of the College.

Her colleague Patricia Shreeve agreed, adding: It is a friendly place to learn, the tutor did an excellent job and the courses have given me confidence.
Sandra Dover who also passed the courses first time said: I was quite nervous at first as I thought I was too old for College at 60, but I have now changed my mind!
