Boarhound      5      Old Alts      1

Old Alts must really wish their matches were brought to a halt at half time, indeed if that was the case then  they would have picked up three points from their last three games. Unfortunately it isn’t and , for they the third game in a row they have conceded five second half goals  to end up with nothing  but a crushing scoreline. Boarhound will have easier afternoons as Alts fought hard in the first half  and had Alan Hay’s goal as due reward for their efforts as he equalised to tie the match at 1-1 . In the second half  Boarhound pulled away and won at a canter , a result that keeps them well in touch with the leaders . Goals for Boarhound came from Matty Roberts , Nathan Hulley , Ryan Stewart , Jamie Collins and Andy Foote.

Juno United      0   Wilmslow Sports     3

Wilmslow got off to a dream start  Danny Seatree bursting through to score from fifteen yards  in the very first minute . They had chances to extend their lead as Jonny Devine first shot wide then saw his header go just over the bar but the visitors had keeper Matt Hoyle  to thank as Ciaran Murray went close. Wilmslow made it 2-0 on the stroke of half time as  Dan Dakin had the easy task of finishing into an empty net when the ball cannoned off the post and substitute Andy Hulme secured the points as he made it 3-0 just past the hour mark to ensure Wilmslow stay top of the table.

Mary Dendy    2    High Lane    2

Not a classic this one by any means but entertaining nevertheless in a first half devoid of chances but not endeavour High Lane scored with their only effort on goal, Rob McMurdoe ghosting in at the far post to latch onto a perfectly taken free kick  to head the ball past Leon White  in the Dendy goal.

Matt Morris whose penalty miss in the corresponding game earlier in the season had proved to be the turning point, had been practising his spotkicks during the warm up and it proved to be a wise choice as he made amends , crashing an unstoppable penalty past Kev Lofthouse on fifty one minutes to draw the home side level.

With twenty mimutes remaining Marc Lilleyman gave High Lane the lead once again with a calm finish but there was more drama to come as substitue Jo Ragdale , having missed an easier chance minutes earlier  scored a wonderful second and a deserved equaliser  for Dendy.

Poynton    1       Poynton Nomads    3

All the goals came in an action packed second half as the first half  finished  all square at Deva Close  with Poynton’s Chris Bell and Scott Bajic both going close . In  the second half  Nomads proved just why they have climbed to second in the table with Liam Grey , Calum Loftus  and new signing Josh Bates all scoring. The ever reliable Ewen McKinnon replied for Poynton who drop a place to eleventh.

Poynton Kings    1     Club AZ    4

Club AZ kept the pressure on Nomads with a well deserved victory against Poynton Kings who drop below Mary Dendy in eighth place in the table. Ben Chesters was on target for the home side with Jake McGarry 2, Lee Manion and Duncan Forbes all scoring for the visitors.
