On Wednesday 27th August five members of the Bolton Old Wheels car club visited the museum, having come by train and walking down from Middlewood Station.
They enjoyed watching the enignes running and debating many aspects of engineering with Geoff Challinor. When they were ready to leave they were saying how much they had enjoyed their visit and they would tell all their friends that they too must come. One described how much bigger the museum was than he had realised and another wrote in the visitors book "much better than the Science Museum"
