CURRENT TRAIN TIMES
SAT, SUN       11am -- 4.00pm.

Brookside has 5 locomotives, three of these are steam engines (Jane, Annie, Jean) and two are diesel.

Our famous railway circuit is bigger and better and now extends to almost half a mile in length.

A major engineering project involving a high level bridge and 65 foot tunnel under tha main vehicle entrance road has enabled the line to run counter clockwise right around the perimeter of Brookside.

Brookside Central is both the starting and finishing point of the journey. Passengers can wait at this replica West Country station (modelled on Dunster on the West Somerset Railway) with its authentic buildings, sidings, turntable, and even the milk churns and watch the trains go by and the locomotives stopping for water.

The station building doubles as a ticket office, railway museum and refreshment shop.

Just after the Tatton Flower Festival display area the locomotive gets up steam for its perilous journey over the high level bridge and then plunges through the 65 foot tunnel under the garden centre entrance road - top hats should be removed .

Usual Train Running Times:
Wednesday - 11am - 4.15pm (Summer Only)
Saturday/Sunday - 11am - 4.15pm
(subject to seasonal change).
