Jack Sevens offering a beautiful new art gallery, gifts and coffee on Chestergate gets off to a promising start at its Inaugural Opening Exhibition on Friday evening, July 29. It is enthusiastically received by all.
The exhibition features work by local and nationally acclaimed artists including Bollington's Dean Entwistle who was at the exhibition along with a number of other artists and art lovers. The gallery will continue to display a wide selection of collectable original artwork alongside limited edition prints for sale.
Jack Sevens Art Yard really is a beautiful hidden gem in the heart of Macclesfield Town Centre. It is a refurbished silk mill with a small courtyard entered via a short passageway from Chestergate. It has been sensitively restored to retain original features.
The main exhibition area is a stunning two-storey floor to ceiling space which utilises the wonderful natural light to display the artwork in all its beauty. Works are also displayed throughout the other room spaces which include a small tea, coffee and cake area and a gallery store selling an attractive array of design-led products.
