The Dieselmax engine was developed by British construction and engineering company JCB, and designed entirely by computer. The Dieselmax444 broke the diesel land speed record on 23 August 2006 at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, USA finally reaching a speed of 350.092mph (563.418kph).  Driven by Wing Commander Andy Green. The display also features a 6' replica of the famous car. The JCB display is only at the museum for a few more weeks
