Andrew Flintoff, of England Cricket Fame, has had to put a dampener on his plans to build a new mansion home in Mottram St. Andrew after local residents resisted the mega-build.
Flintoff had requested planning permission from the MBC to build a £2 million home for him and his family in the iydillic Cheshire village. But local residents are strongly against the build, complaining it will be too high and will have a negative, imposing effect on the village and its way of life. In light of this, Flintoff is back to square one with plans to create his perfect MTV-style crib, which unfortunately may not have that lucrative Cheshire post-code.
