The life of Jodrell Bank is under threat, as funders wish to save approximately 2.5 million pounds on science spending.
The telescope is a much-loved and familiar sight for Cheshire residents, and an iconic landmark in the local area. Everyone seems to have a memory of an exciting school trip to Jodrell Bank!
