Post Office Closures is Britain's fault says Brian Simpson MEP

Post Office closures have absolutely nothing to do with Europe as some have claimed, according to Euro MP Brian Simpson.

“I get fed up with anti Europeans, particularly UKIP, blaming Post Office closures on the European Union, when the problem lies within the United Kingdom.  Post Office closures are as a result of less British Government subsidy and the inability of the Royal Mail and the British Post Office to prioritise this part of their business” said Mr. Simpson.

Many Post Offices face closure as the Royal Mail tries to make savings and Mr. Simpson is clear who is to blame.

“Royal Mail is the one who has caused this problem so it’s Royal Mail who should take the flak.  To blame Europe is not only ridiculous but is a deliberate attempt by Royal Mail and the UK authorities to shift the blame away from themselves” concluded Mr. Simpson.
