FC Flyers remain the only unbeaten team in the ECL after a comfortable 5-0 win against Poynton Nomads who played for 50 minutes with ten men after player manager Jonny Blissett saw red for a trip on Scott McGowan who ended the game with four goals. Crucially the game was all square when McGowan raced clear only to be clipped by Blissett. He managed to stay on his feet to shoot on goal but couldn’t put his chance away . Referee Stuart Parks brought play back , awarded the free kick and sent Blissett off .

McGowan then rubbed salt in the wounds scoring from the free kick to make it 1-0. Nomads, down to ten, badly missed Blissett at the back and three more goals from the prolific McGowan in the second half and a fifth from Danny Cook completed the win for Flyers who remain unbeaten.
Club AZ also scored five and ended Mary Dendy’s recent good run at Mary Dendy Fields . Jamie Collins who was instrumental in Dendy’s defeat earlier in the season opened the scoring as the visitors led 1-0 at half time but a second half hat-trick from Lee Anderson and one from Gareth Gibbons ensured a 5-0 win for the league leaders with Dendy by no means disgraced.
Poynton Kings put Old Alts East to the sword at Crossford Bridge with a comprehensive 8-0 victory. Man of the match Charles Hesketh headed the visitors into the lead and an Ali Breed tap in doubled their advantage . Luke Murray made it three before half time .

| Scott Wright scored twice in Poynton KIngs 8-0 demolition of Old Alts East |
In the second half Breed added his second and Tom Darcy scored from long range to make it 5-0 before a Scott Wright brace made it 7-0 before Alex Jackson put the icing on the cake with an absolute screamer! Kings stay fourth.
Cheadle Hulme stay third with a 6-1 victory away at Poynton Village . Jon O’Brien gave the visitors the lead but Poynton were soon back on level terms. Leon Tailor restored a one goal advantage before the break and goals in the second half from Ste Brotherton , Tom Cleary, Jon O’Brien and Mark Alcock completed the victory.
