This is a comedy with t he plot revolving around a recently departed and greatly beloved comedian. At Dave’s funeral, his friends and lovers all gather, protesting their love for Dave. Each is determined to exploit his comic genius for all it is worth. Crammed with great jokes, Eric Chappell’s script reflects a lifetime of working with timeless comedians.

This play is a satire about celebrity feminists. Margot Mason is a writer suffering from writer’s block as she cannot meet the deadlines for her next book. Molly Rivers, a former student of Margot’s, who blames Margot for warping her mother’s mind, arrives unexpectedly at her country home. Margot’s daughter Tess then arrives, exhausted from her house full of children followed by her sensitive stockbroker husband, Bryan who wants to debate the virtues of Margot’s best-sellers, her philosophy, and her inability to “mother”.

A feel-good play, with laughter and tears. Three women “of a certain age” gravitate to Paris. There’s Nancy, a retired headmistress determined to throw off her shackles, Anna recently widowed and Raquel a divorcee in search of eternal youth and a new toy boy.

On a midsummer's night in Manchester, Tony and Ruth, two young people meet at a party. On the floor above, Don and Edie, married fifty years, are having a party of their own and gradually its purpose becomes apparent. As the night progresses, love is in the air, the start for Tony and Ruth and the end for Edie and Don.
