On 18th April the Inter Macc JFC Olympian team enjoyed a memorable day!
The Inter Macc team reached the Final of the U11s Stockport Metro League Cup, facing a tough side from Bramhall North JFC.
Paul Turner, Chairman of the Macclesfield based Club, said “This is only the Club’s second full season and for one our teams to reach the League Cup Final is a fantastic achievement. We are extremely proud of the boys! The Club was keen to make the day one to remember; the day started with brunch for the team and their coach at The Tytherington Club and a minibus then transported them to the match venue!”
Paul added “We were absolutely delighted when Magic Finance, based locally in Macclesfield, offered to sponsor the Olympians with a special match day kit and jacket. The boys were overwhelmed by the personalised kit given to them by Magic and the Club is extremely grateful to them for their generosity. Although the team didn’t bring the Cup home the day was thoroughly enjoyed by the boys and their families and friends, which is what we had hoped for.”
