Students from Macclesfield College raised a grand total of £1,400 for East Cheshire Hospice by holding a silent auction and charity dinner.

The BTEC Hospitality Students organised the Auction and sourced prizes from local companies including a boxing glove signed by Ricky Hatton, an iPod and a stay at Mottram Hall. Staff and students at the College showed their support throughout the day, with some competitive bidding on the unique prizes.
A charity dinner also took place in aid of East Cheshire Hospice which was hugely popular, with a raffle including prizes such as dinner for two at the Hallmark Hotel.
The students would like to say a big thank you to everyone involved for their help and support.
