Fashion Show and Auction Raises Money for Oxfam

We would like to thank everyone who came to Fashion Show & Auction for their support. Anyone who didn't make it missed a really good night.

With the money raised we were able to purchase the following items for Oxfam's unwrapped catalogue of alternative gifts: - Roadside assistance - helping Oxfam to stay on the road, ...at the front line of disaster relief, with fuel, running costs and essential maintenance of vehicles; Train a farmer - helping and educating local farmers to learn skills and techniques in farming enabling them to sell goods and feed their families; Essential Medicines and equipment and health check ups; bag of seeds and fertiliser; Emergency supplies to feed a family and an Eco-warrior to raise awareness about climate change and lobby governments and the powers that be to do something about it.

We also purchased a 'Glonk' from the flaminals range of unwrapped supplying enough food for 24 hours or hygiene kits in the initial stages of an emergency...THANK YOU!

A huge THANK YOU also to Vic Barlow for presenting the show and Sarah Hussain our fashion designer extraordinaire from Vava fashion in London.
