Pack Horse 5 Boarhound 4
Pack Horse are now within touching distance of league leaders Prestbury after this crucial victory against rivals Boarhound at Mary Dendy Fields. With the teams locked together at 4-4 and the game seemingly heading for a draw up popped Nick Stone to score the winner and complete his hat-trick with barely four minutes remaining. Like the corresponding game at Windmill street earlier in the season Boarhound took an early lead but once again it only seemed to stir the Pack into action as they came back to score three times and lead 3-1.

| Nick Stone scored a hat-trick for Pack Horse |
The visitors could have been forgiven for thinking it was a case of déjà vue but the hosts failed to add to their tally and Boarhound came storming back. Matty Roberts thundered home a free kick and Dec Fletcher added a penalty to tie the game at 3-3 going into the break. Pack took the lead again in the second half but again they were pinned back before Stone’s goal finally secured them three vital points. Harry Wheetman and Simon Gibbons were also on the scoresheet for the hosts with Aaron Walker and Chris Taylor completing the scoring for Boarhound.
Vale 3 Brewers 1
At Back Lane in Congleton ,Vale move into third after capturing all three points against a battling Brewers side who took the lead through Matt Taylor in the first half.Vale came back with a brace from Dan Mountford and one from Stephen Davenport to condemn Brewers to the foot of the table.

Hollins 3 Nags Head 5
If you want to guarantee goals, then go and watch Nags Head . For the seventh successive league game their games have produced seven or more goals – it’s the fourth game in a row they have scored five goals in a game themselves. Crucial to this success is their ability to score from all over the pitch. True , their front men Craig Poyser and Anthony Byrne score the majority of the teams goals but with Neil Smith weighing in with goals from midfield and goalkeeper / manager Lee Anderson also a regular goal scorer they are fast becoming the league’s form team. Hollins still stay top despite this defeat but they will be disappointed with the manner in which they let the points slip away . Too many times they let Nag’s players get goal side and conceded three times to headed goals. Scorers for Hollins , Roy Rostrum , Jamie Beech and Blair Stubbs with his third goal of the season.
Railway View 4 Spinners Arms 2
Spinners travelled to Victoria Park still unbeaten but having only played five league games and could have been forgiven for thinking there unbeaten run would continue when they raced into a two goal lead in the first half thanks to goals from Dan Hunter and Dave Lovatt against Railway View. Railway View however had other ideas. Man of the match Mike Harrison pulled a goal back before half time and when Chris Coxen fired home from fully twenty five yards less than twenty seconds into the second half the hosts were already back level. Spinners toiled in the mud as Railway dominated play .

| Chris Coxen (red) battles for possession |
Chris Coxen added a second , nodding home at the far post midway through the second half to give Railway the lead and then came the turning point of the game . Barely two minutes later Nathan Hulley was felled in the penalty box and referee Gary Smith pointed to the spot. Up stepped top scorer Dan Hunter with a chance to tie the game and give his flagging side a much needed boost but crucially he saw his penalty well saved by keeper Joe Wilcox. It was a killer blow for the visitors who conceded a fourth with twenty minutes left, Mike Harrison claiming his second of the game.

Macc Boys Juniors 6 Sporting Kerridge 1
Four goals from Matt Stowen but paid to any chances Sporting Kerridge had of springing an upset on the early pace setters in the first division. Having put their loss to Hollins well and truly behind them Juniors were simply too strong for Sporting in the mud at Congleton road with three goals in each half. Adding to Stowen’s four goals were Lee Fisher and Duncan Hodges with one a piece. Tim Hill hit a consolation for the visitors.
Queens 4 Poynton Legion 1
A well deserved victory for Queens at Bollington Leisure Centre sees them keep in contact with the leaders as they go level on points with Nags Head.
They didn’t have it all their own way though with Nick Hayman in goal having a fine game despite conceding an early penalty from Ryan Walker after Stuart Ainsworth handled the ball.. Ryan Foster made it six league goals for the season scoring twice with Sam Davidson and Alex Simpson also on target.
Chilli Banana 2 Tythy Juniors 5
Chilli handed Juniors an early Christmas present as they gifted the visitors all three points after leading the match 2-1 with an hour gone. The hosts simply fell apart as Tythy scored four goals in less than ten minutes to steal the points . Instrumental was substitute Scott Dixon who scored twice but it was a fine all round performance with further goals coming from Gareth Henshall, Lewis Evans and a Nick Hadfield penalty.
