Brewers 3 Prestbury Club 4
Prestbury had their first half performance to thank as they maintained top spot in the Premier Division. Nicky Scott scored a first half hat-trick and Neil O’Brian added a fourth to put the visitors 4-1 up at the break giving Brewers a mountain to climb in the second half. They did score twice in the second half and dominated possession but it wasn’t quite enough as Prestbury hung on despite suffering injuries to several key players. More importantly for the league leaders , midway through the second half they lost play maker Craig Scott after he received a second yellow card from referee Greg Marshall following a foul on Brewers striker Jake McGarry who also saw red.
Boarhound 8 Macc Boys Seniors 5
To concede eleven goals in two games is a worrying statistic….not however if you score sixteen yourself !!! Boarhound have been involved in two remarkable games back to back having won 8-6 in the Macc and District Sunday Cup last week they again produced drama by the bucket load. The match should have been over by half time as the Boarhound led 5-2 but Steve Coppenhall’s side showed true grit to bring the score back to 6-5. Two late Boarhound goals finally put them out of sight but all credit to the Seniors who battled until the end even when reduced through injuries to ten fit players.

| Dec Fletcher scored four times against Macc Boys Seniors |
Dec Fletcher scored four, Ben Hamand two with Matty Roberts , playing his first game following surgery on his hand and Aaron walker completing the scoring. For the Seniors the goals came from Josh Roberts, Eddie Roberts, Gareth Ridge , Gareth Hunt and Luke McClintock. This win takes Boarhound above the Seniors and into third in the table, a point behind Pack Horse.
Albion Rovers 3 Oxfford 2
Albion secured only their second win of the season in the league following a competent performance against Oxfford on a muddy pitch at Victoria Park. Jamie Collins gave the hosts the lead in the first half but they trailed 2-1early in the second after conceding two set pieces on the edge of their own area that were punished by goals from Mark Parkinson and Jack Jones. Jamie Collins scored again to level the game at 2-2 and could have gone on to complete his hat-trick but dragged his penalty a yard wide of the post. Dave Barratt rounded off a fine display by the hosts hitting the winner.
Pack Horse 2 AC Bollan 0
Pack Horse manager Matt Towns was beeming after his side finally turned in a performance worthy of champions having been desperately disappointing in their previous outing against Albion Rovers. Simon Band and Harry Wheetman scored the vital goals but it was the performance of midfielder Terry Costello and stand in goalkeeper Nick Ward that particularly please their manager. Sean Gill too put in a workman like performance and nearly broke his scoring duck but shinned his shot woefully wide of goal when clean through.

Hollins 3 Macc Boys Juniors 0
The game of the day at Mary Dendy Fields saw the top two battle it out and it was Hollins who came out on top after scoring three second half goals. Juniors cause wasn’t helped when they were reduced to ten men but they let that decision colour the rest of their play and Hollins took full advantage. Martin Brunker , Roy Rostrum and Gaz Burns all found the net in a win that takes Hollins three points clear at the top.
FC Congleton 2 Chilli Banana 1
After last weeks defeat to Nags Head Chilli manager Ben Jackson called for more team spirit from his side and initially he got it as they held a strong FC Congleton side at bay. Chris Bann eventually broke the deadlock giving the home side the lead but back came Chilli with Jack Hoyle scoring the equaliser . FC Congleton had been guilty of conceding late goals but this time it was they who scored one Ryan Maddock snatching the winner in the final minute much to the delight of his team mates.
Nags Head 5 Railway View 2
Nags Head go fourth after scoring five goals for the second week in a row against rivals Railway View. Chris Coxen’s double wasn’t enough for the visitors as Nags converted their chances . Craig Poyser scored twice and their were further goals from Lee Anderson , Rob Ainsworth and Steve Brain.
Spinners 8 Queens 2
Queens must be wandering what hit them after conceding six times in twenty second half minutes having led 2-1 ten minutes into the second half. It was a masterstroke by player manager Jimmy Baskerville as he introduced substitute Nathan Hulley who proceeded to turn the game on its head. Spinners led 1-0 at the break but a second half penalty by Stuart Ainsworth and Ryan Foster strike gave the vistors a 2-1 one advantage. With the introduction of Hulley , Spinners came to life and set-about their opponents with striker Dan Hunter in particularly destructive mood scoring five times. Dave Gridey added a penalty and Dave Lovatt and Jimmy Baskerville completed an extraordinary afternoon.
Sporting Kerridge 2 Blueberry 5
Jermaine Leveridge’s hat-trick proved to be the difference as Blueberry’s victory at Clarke Lane condemns Sporting Kerridge to the bottom of the division. Alex Rottenbury added two more to take Blueberry up to second.

Tythy Juniors 3 Poynton 2
Tythy made it back to back victories for the first time this season with Chris Allen scoring the pick of the goals with a superb third for John Plant’s side. Andy Buckley had given Poynton the lead from the penalty spot but the hosts replied with three of their own through Luke Smith and Nick Hadfield before Allen’s third. Rick Cash made it 3-2 to give Poynton hope but it wasn’t quite enough.
