A remarkable situation in the Premier Division means eight out of the nine clubs all have one victory and three points a piece.
Boarhound 2 Pack Horse 7
One game in and its business as usual for Pack Horse as they top the division after a wonderful display of attacking football at Windmill Street against Boarhound.

Things could have been so different though. Newly promoted Boarhound got off to the perfect start scoring after only forty seconds through Aaron Walker to begin a frantic first fifteen minutes which saw the hosts have two goals disallowed before two goals in a minute from Lee McIntyre and Harry Wheetman gave Pack Horse a two goal lead . In between Boarhound keeper Shaun Castle had denied Nick Ward with a great save. On the half hour Harry Wheetman made it 1-3 with his second of the game sweeping the ball low into the corner of the net with his left foot from the edge of the area following a corner from Grant Beckwith but back came Boarhound , Dec Fletcher smashing home to make it 2-3 just before the break. The second half saw Pack Horse dominate but Simon Band’s goal five minutes into the second half owed a great deal to fortune as his weak shot took an awful bobble which completely deceived Boarhound’s keeper and ended up in the back of the net .. It was Band’s final contribution as he was soon replaced by Jono Campbell who came on to score twice with two goals in six minutes to make it 2-6. The scoreline was harsh on Boarhound who worked hard but just couldn’t find their way through a tough Pack Horse defence. Ben Hamand battled hard in midfield for Boarhound and Craig Hayes made a difference when he came on but by now they were tiring and when Gareth Gibbons blazed a penalty high over the bar with two minutes to go they knew the points had well and truly gone. Geoff Shaw rolled back the years as he added a seventh for the league champions in stoppage time.
Albion Rovers 0 AC Bollan 1
Albion Rovers are having a tough start in the Premier Division but they deserved at least a point from this game as they dominated the early stages creating several presentable chances with Gary Chapman guilty of wasting the best of them . It wasn’t to be Albion’s day and with five minutes remaining they were punished. A C Bollan’s James Flower took a free kick on the edge of the penalty area and although it appeared to be heading into the net Andy Paul made sure to secure all three points for the visitors .

Brewers 2 Vale 0
A goal in each half secured a welcome victory for Brewers. Sam Dicken opened the scoring in the first half with Joel Hunter making it 2-0 on the hour after Brewers skipper Matt Woolley had been sent off for his second yellow card.
Oxfford 0 Macc Boys Seniors 4
Macc Boys go second behind Pack Horse after comfortably defeating an out of sorts Oxfford side at Mary Dendy Fields. Gareth Hunt scored twice with further goals coming from Chris Coppenhall and Eddie Roberts.

Chester Rd Tavern 1 Blueberry 3
Blueberry stay second after their third win in four league games . It was fitting revenge as their only defeat this season was at the hands of Chester Road two weeks ago. Alex Rottenbury with two and Ben Atkins scored for the visitors , the second week running they have both scored with Tegg Westbrook having but the hosts level in the first half.
Chilli Banana 2 Queens Arms 3
Chilli will be kicking themselves after they let a 2-0 lead slip in the second half to an improving Queens side. Kieran Shenton opened the scoring in the first minute with Mike Meszaros adding a penalty to make it 2-0 at half time . The second half belonged to Queens as they took advantage of the famous slope on the Clarke Lane pitch and scored three unanswered goals through Stuart Ainsworth with two and Carl Henshaw as Chilli got more and more frustrated with each other.
FC Congleton 3 Sporting Kerridge 2
Despite goals from Mark Bailey and Stephen Bellerby Sporting Kerridge just lost out by the odd goal at Back Lane to FC Congleton who registered their first points of the season thanks to a brace from Ryan Maddock and one from Chris Bann.
Poynton 1 Railway View 4
Railway move up a place to fourth after a second consecutive 4-1 win . They took the lead as early as the first minute and were 4-0 up before Leon Eadsforth grabbed a consolation for the hosts in the second half. Ian Potts , who scored two goals against Tytherington Juniors last week hit two again with Ryan Stewart and Zak Stewart piling on the misery for Poynton.
Poynton Legion 1 Nags Head 3
Legion remain bottom after their third consecutive league defeat to an impressive looking Nags Head side . Matty Bull opened the scoring with a spectacular overhead kick from twenty yards and Craig Poyser added two more before half time. Dan Booth pulled one back late in the second half but the points had all but gone. The only sad note was the loss of Nag’s player Rick Davis who left the pitch with a broken collar bone.
Spinners 1 Hollins 1
Spinners strikers Dan Hunter and Stuart Lovatt are going through a goal drought at the moment which is causing manger Jimmy Baskerville a real headache. They simply cannot score despite creating a hatful of chances and dominating matches . Brigg Simpson was on target though as for the second week in a row they only managed a draw when all three points looked on the cards. Hollins welcomed back striker Matt Beswick their top scorer from last season who obliged with his customary strike.
Tytherington Juniors 3 Macc Boys Juniors 8
Macc Boys victory was over shadowed by the knowledge that one of Tythy Juniors players broke his leg in their clash at Congleton Road. Despite a hatt rick from Tom Connor for the home team the visitors fine start to the season continues with four wins from four . Dave Short scored a hat-trick , Frank Spencer scored twice with Will Perry , Alex Tomlinson and Scott Meszaros completing the rout.
