Carole, who achieved her CIM Introductory Certificate in Marketing this year, was nominated by her tutor Mandy Orton and went on to win the award in her category. Talking about her success, Carole, who works in the Communications Team for Cheshire East Council, said: ‘Working as a graphic designer, I took this course as I wanted to learn more about the basics of marketing in order to support colleagues in their marketing tasks. I have really enjoyed it and learnt a lot and now am hoping to develop these skills further, possibly in a new role as Communications Officer.’
Two other students from Macclesfield College were also in the running for Top Student Awards; Richard Langford, who has just successfully completed his Professional Diploma in Marketing, and Vicky Harvey who has enjoyed success this year on the Professional Certificate in Marketing.
