Newly qualified Holistic and Beauty Therapy students from Macclesfield College pampered College staff recently and raised £460 for The National Autistic Society.
Staff made donations in return for relaxing manicures, pedicures, facials and Indian head massages and students Sonia Johnson, Alice Newton, Kelly Whiston, Donna Johnson, Sue Roberts, Elisabeth Rosevere, Judith Thurston, Hannah Langton and Ewa Laga worked free of charge to raise money for the charity.

Sharron McIndoe, Regional Co-ordinator for the Society came to the College to accept the cheque from the students and commented: ‘This is a really great way of raising money and making a positive difference to the lives of people with autism and their families. We are very grateful for what these girls have done – as well as to the College staff for being so generous!’
