Pack Horse 0 Vale 5
Newly crowned MSL Premier Division champions Pack Horse had an inauspicious end to their campaign as they lost 0-5 at home to Vale who have suddenly hit form. On a hard bobbly pitch at Mary Dendy Fields , Vale led 1-0 at half time thanks to an Adam Cheatham goal but they really hit form in the second half and inflicted Pack’s heaviest defeat of the season scoring a further four times through striker Adam Hall with two, centre half Andy Sims and midfielder Osborn Hull.

Boarhound 5 Baths 3
A remarkable Sunday in the MSL as Boarhound finally went top of the table after playing second fiddle to Albion Rovers all season. With Unicorn failing to turn up, Albion Rovers’s title champagne was put on ice for another few days as Boarhound took full advantage to really pile on the pressure. It was touch and go though as their opponents at Windmill Street , Baths , took Albion all the way in mid week drawing 4-4 . A similar scoreline was on the cards as Baths led 2-1 and 3-2 but Boarhound are made of sterner stuff these days and with Ben Hamand again in outstanding form scoring twice ,they eventually ran out 5-3 winners. Craig Hayes , Andy Shard and Dec Fletcher were also on the scoresheet but special mention to left back Chris Taylor, so often out of the headlines , produced his best performance of the season at left back Scorers for Baths were Matty Bull, Steve Payne and Craig Poyser with a first half penalty.

Chain & Gate 1 Sporting Kerridge 2
Chain are fast improving but having gained their first point against Kerridge two weeks ago were narrowly beaten in the return fixture. Sid Pearson equalised in the second half after Kerridge took a first half lead through Simon Mason and the woodwork thwarted Chain three times before Kerridge took the points with a goal from Dave Findlow.
Macc Tigers 3 Hollins 5
Tigers lost this game in the first five minutes after they conceded twice but they certainly made it an exciting game and pushed Hollins all the way . Nathan Corley and Lewis Peterson had brought the score back to 3-2 by halftime but the hard unpredictable surface contrived against them too early in the second half with Hollins making it 4-2 after the ball took an awful bounce and richoted off the face of their keeper straight to a Hollins player. A wonder goal from Nathan Corley gave the Tigers hope at 3-4 but the visitors added a fifth to secure the points and third place in the table. Strikers Matt Beswick and Ali Heathcote both scored twice with John Finlow adding a fifth.
