Boarhound      8      Poynton     0

Boarhound demolished Poynton at Congleton Road , a result that keeps their title hopes alive but only if they defeat rivals Wilmslow when the two sides  meet on 22nd April. Jamie Collins, in line for the ‘Golden Boot’ as the league’s leading goalscorer  scored three times  with Matty Roberts, Nathan Hulley, Ryan Stewart, Wayne Shufflebotham and Andy Foote joining him on the scoresheet. Poynton kept the game tight in the first half  only conceding twice but Boarhound ran away with the game in the second half.

Matty Roberts , on the score sheet again for Boarhound

High Lane     2     Wilmslow     6

Two wins in four days including a 1-0 victory away to rivals Club AZ  saw Wilmslow take a step nearer securing the title for the first time in their debut season in the ECL.   Three goals in each half  proved too much for High Lane  but they did manage to find the net twice in the second period through Matt Dunn and a Dave Wilde penalty. Wilmslow’s goals came from Jonny Devine , with two, Tom Gill , Danny Seatree, Wayne Lord  and Gareth Stannart.

Juno United    1    Old Alts   Youth    1

All square at Sandringham Road between two sides who are destined to finish mid table.  Callum Mc Cluckie gave United the lead on five minutes  taking advantage of a defensive error to poke the ball home from close range, but it took  a fine save from Rich Lane to  deny Tom Masey  an equaliser . Twice in the second half Alts were denied by the woodwork before Masey deservedly earnt  a point for the visitors glancing home a header on 73 minutes.

Old Alts      1    Old Alts Vets    3

The Vets won this  derby game at Crossford Bridge  to consolidate fifth place in the table.  Andy Graham grabbed a brace  with Andy Metcalfe adding a third. Adrian Maddock grabbed a consolation for Alts .
