League Table
Old Alts Vets 2 High Lane 1
The Vets won the battle of mid table as they controversially beat High lane with a disputed Andy Graham goal. Matt Harwood , in a rare start for the Vets and Nick Handy for High Lane scored in the first half.
Poynton 2 Mary Dendy 2
Draw specialists Poynton did it again. Two goals up with fifteen minutes remaining they let their lead slip and indeed could have gone on to lose the game when really they should have put Dendy out of the game much earlier.. Leo Faulkner gave the home side the lead in the first half with a smart finish and they doubled their lead on the hour when Ewan McKInnon was left to run at the Dendy defence and pick his spot before a challenge was made.

| Dendy's Leon White takes a tumble |
Chris Hadfield pulled one back as tactical substitutions began to pay off for Dendy and with the arrival of veteran Gary Baker who began to win every header the tide swung the way of the visitors.. Poynton were unlucky not to extend their lead but twice the woodwork intervened and with eight minutes remaining up popped Matt Morris to smash home the equaliser.
League Cup Quarter Finals

Club AZ 5 Old Alts 2
Old Alts looked like they might provide the shock of the round as they took a 2-0 lead after only ten minutes against high flying Club AZ but their hopes were dashed as the home side scored three times themselves before half time. Nick Wright and Kevin Austin were on target for Old Alts whilst Paul Bethall, Neil Benney , Gareth Gibbons and Luke Wild with two were AZ’s scorers.
Poynton Kings 0 Old Alts Youth 1

Poynton Nomads 2 Juno United 3
Nomads were absolutely beside themselves as they tumbled out of the league cup to Juno who are quickly gathering a reputation as Cup specialists as they have also made the Inter - League cup semis. Despite taking the lead through Stuart Johnstone Juno equalised before half time and soon took control scoring twice in quick succession. Sam Pilley’s debut goal on the hour mark wasn’t enough to spark a come back as Juno comfortably held on.
