Premier Division
Brewers 0 Vale 4
Brewers season is slowly disintegrating. Barely three weeks ago they were top of the league and still in the Macc & District Sunday Cup . Now they find themselves second and out of the cup. The main culprits are Vale from Back Lane , Congleton who have now beaten them in back to back fixtures . Admittedly they were without top scorer Jake McGarry and strike partner Jamie Madden but nevertheless this was a surprise defeat. Sam Pilley, normally a centre half had the onorous task of leading the line but he was no substitute for McGarry and Vale took full advantage . 3-0 up by half time they even managed the luxury of missing a penalty to run out comfortable 4-0 winners . David Holmes , Chris Ogden and Tom Burgess with two were all on target.
Macc Boys Seniors 0 A C Bollan 5
Five goals and a clean sheet to boot , happy days for AC Bollan who have now won three games in a row and look serious contenders to take runners up spot. A midfield including Lee Manion , Chris Megarrell and man of the match Ben Davenport ran the game against a strangely subdued Seniors . Manion and Davenport scored three of the five goals with Tim Hammond and substitute Fran Oliver , making a long awaited return to action , adding the fifth.

| Jason Knight under pressure from Railway's Chris Coxen |
After last weekends dramatic finale the neutrals were predicting a tight exciting game . Exciting perhaps, tight , certainly not. Pack Horse dominated the game from the first whistle with Simon Band in the thick of the action enjoying the opportunity to play against his brother Dave. Despite Pack’s early pressure it was Railway who took the lead , Mike Harrison taking advantage as the Pack defenders appealed for a foul on Jonathan Flower .
Two Nick Stone strikes either side of half time put Pack 2-1 ahead and when Simon Band made it 3-1 on 57 minutes Railway knew the points had gone. Martin Quigley was outstanding in midfield alongside captain Andy Quigley and capped off a magnificent individual performance with two wonderful goals . The first a curling free kick , the second a flying header from eight yards. Terry Costello coming on as a second half sub completed the scoring. The win sees Pack leapfrog Brewers back to the top of the table for Railway , sadly its no win in six.

Three Crowns 0 Oxfford 4
Having had only one win in the last five league games the wheels have really fallen off for Crowns who really looked like they would be in the mix at the business end of the season. Oxfford on the other hand are flying !! A first half hat-trick from Dave Billington sealed victory for the visitors at Victoria Park with Carl Mc Currie adding a fourth.
Tytherington Juniors 1 Albion Rovers 7
Juniors played well last week and to lose 2-0 to Albion was no disgrace but this weekend , without their usual centre back pairing they really struggled, and it showed . Jamie Collins helped himself to a hat trick and managed to miss a penalty , one of three awarded to Rovers by referee Colin Leese. Gareth Gibbons and Lee Millward successfully despatched the other two. Ian Potts and midfielder Neil Smith also scored . Albion are now odds on to land the title ..but will they manage to remain undefeated?
Poynton 1 Boarhound 7
Hot on Albion’s tails are Boarhound who matched the leaders goal for goal against Poynton . Strikers Andy Shard and Dec Fletcher both scored hat-tricks with Craig Hulme adding a seventh. Bobby Cash scored a consolation for Poynton.
Unicorn 4 Chain & Gate 1
A Jez Shepherd hat-trick made it four wins in a row for fast improving Unicorn . A Damien Blower goal for Chain wasn’t enough as Robbie Lawrie added a fourth for the hosts.
Sporting Kerridge 4 Macc Boys Juniors 2
Sporting got revenge for last weeks defeat to Juniors by putting four past them at Clarke Lane. Eddie Joseph , Peter Thompson, Dave Finlow and Simon Williams were all on target whilst Callum Loftus and Callum Burgess replied for the visitors.
Hollins 5 Macc Tigers 0
Hollins were too strong for Tigers and took all three points with a win which sees them go above Baths and into third place. Alistair Heathcote hit a hat-trick with John Browning and Gaz Burns also on the scoresheet.
