Second Round – 15th February
Disley 1 Hollins 3
An opportunist goal in the first half from inside his own half from Derek Lownds set Hollins on their way to a well deserved victory. Disley rued their bad luck as they had a strong penalty claim turned down but they came back to equalise through John Critchlow before the break but the visitors settled the tie with two second half goals from Matt Beswick.
Poynton Workman 8 Boarhound 0
Poynton proved far too strong for Boarhound who despite an excellent win against Brewers were given an insite into how much they will need to improve before they can successfully overcome some of the better sides in the Macclesfield Borough. Steve Panter and Mark Faulkner both hit hat-tricks with Curtis Brookes and Paul Gamer also on target.
Oxfford 5 A C Bollan 4
An extraordinary game at Congleton Road saw Oxfford defeat A C Bollan in a thrilling game .. Remarkably Bollan twice held the lead by two clear goals at 3-1 and 4-2 but failed to capitalise and eventually crashed out in the dying seconds to Dave Billington’s deserved 90th minute winner. Bollan lack confidence and their failure to kill this tie off cost them dearly. Oxfford pressed and encouraged each other giving them an added potency going forward . Bollan’s keeper James Flower did well to thwart Dan Frost and Ryan Fitter but he had no answer to Carl McCurrie as his penalty sent him the wrong way to make it 1-3 at half time. Bollan led again at 2-4 midway through the second half but as McCurrie completed his hat-trick including a second penalty, Bollans’ heads dropped and and own goal and Billington’s dramatic winner completed a miserable afternoon for Bollan.Tim Hammond with two, an og and an Andy Davies strike just weren’t enough for Chris Stacey’s side.
Brewers 2 Albion Rovers 1
High flying Albion Rovers were a potential banana skin for Brewers following their league cup defeat to Boarhound but they seemed to have learnt their lesson as goals from Jamie Madden and Lee Johnstone were enough to see them through to the Third Round after Jamie Collins had given the visitors the lead. Graham Wright took charge in the middle.
Three Crowns 1 Wilmslow Albion 3
Wilmslow eventually proved too strong for Three Crowns as they survived an early onslaught from the hosts which could have seen them trailing by at least two goals.

| Nathan Hulley scored Three Crowns goal |
Fortunately for the visitors it was only one, a low twenty yard drive from Nathan Hulley that fizzed into the corner of the net. Ex Man Utd star Ben Thornley barked orders from midfield as Albions ‘ defence were besiged in the opening five minutes but when his brother Rod equalised from close range after seven minutes the tide turned . Albion began to press and despite great work in midfield from Sean Gill , Dave Barratt and Ryan Stewart they lacked punch upfront with Andy Foote strangely out of sorts. Nathan Hulley had some success down the flanks but as the game progressed frustration began to creep in .

| Three Crown's Sean Gill |
Tom Brookes made it 2-1 with seventeen minutes remaining and when Anthony Barker headed home from a corner ten minutes later it was game over .
Premier Division
Railway View 2 Blueberry 5
Blueberry finally secured their first win of the season with a well deserved victory against a disappointing Railway View. Blueberry , inspired by man of the match Ray White, powered into a five goal lead before Stuart Ainsworth , with a penalty and Tom Wild bought a bit of respectability to the scoreline. Earlier an own goal, a Pete Eccles penalty , a Luke Wild strike and a brace from Ray White had given the visitors an unassailable lead.
First Division
Chain and Gate 0 Macc Tigers 8
The Tigers showed no mercy as they mauled Chain and Gate.
Nathan Thawles and James Allen both scored twice with further goals coming from Mike Matheson, Alex Pinnedy, Jonathan Davies and Lewis Peterson.
Poynton 1 Baths 3
Poynton can consider themselves unlucky not to get at least a point from this game as they gave promotion chasing Baths a real scare. Lee Anderson had to be in top form in goal for the visitors as Poynton created plenty of chances but in the end they only had a Leo Faulkner goal to show for their endeavours. Baths , on the other hand did what all good sides do..won and took all three points whilst not playing particularly well. Craig Poyser (pen ) , Mark Gee and Anthony Byrne were all on target.
Tythy Juniors 1 Sporting Kerridge 4
Ryan Walker’s first half goal wasn’t enough for Tythy as Sporting took control in the second half scoring four times. Dave Finlow equalised from the penalty spot before further goals from Simon Mason, Simon Williams and a second from Finlow secured the points.
Unicorn 2 Macc Boys Juniors 4
Unicorn remain without a win despite coming from 3-0 down to trail by a solitary goal 3-2 thanks to goals from Des Shepherd and Robbie Lawrie.
