Brewers 8 Prestbury Club 0
Brewers continued their assault on the title with an 8-0 demolition of Prestbury Club at Bollington Recreation Ground. Prestbury Club secretary Rod Price had absolutely no excuses and was full of praise for Brewers . ‘It was the strongest side I’ve put out all season …they beat us fair and square’ Four goals in each half proved Brewers ambition as whilst leading 4-0 at the break and the points in the bag they never eased off and scored four more in the second half. Tormentor in chief was Jake McGarry who has been the scurge of many defences this season with his electric pace. He scored four times , skipper Danny Bailey put in a captains ‘ performance with two and Martin Firth and Matt Woolley scored one apiece . Woolley firing home a stunning free kick
Macc Boys Seniors 4 Blueberry 1

| Eddy Roberts is challenged by Pete Eccles |
Macc Boys Seniors came from behind to take all three points in a lively encounter at Bollington Cross and go up to second in the league. Matt Patterson's young side are growing in confidence with every game and now beginning to turn in the kind of performances they have threatened over the last couple of seasons. Ray White opened the scoring inside two minutes to give the visitors a deserved lead but Mike Pulvertaft equalised five minutes before half time. Three second half goals from centre half Craig Jones, Josh Roberts and Darren Adams secured the points. (photos by Chris coppenhall )
Railway View 2 Oxfford 3
Railway View only had themselves to blame as they slipped to defeat against Oxfford gifting them the points with two own goals. Dan Frost gave the visitors the lead in the first only for Stuart Ainsworth to equalise and bring the sides in level at half time. A deflected Liam Hadfield cross gave Oxfford a slender lead but it was Ainsworth who pulled Railway level with his second of the game. With minutes remaining and a draw looking a fair bet Chris Mason saw his volley deflected to complete Railway’s miserable morning.
Three Crowns 3 Vale 1
Three Crowns got that winning feeling again thanks to a stunning effort from Greg Mathers who is fast making spectacular goals his trademark and a bit of quick thinking from Andy Foote who latched on to a poor clearance from Vale’s keeper. New signing Oli Brazier capped his debut for Crowns with a well taken effort in the first half.

Baths 3 Albion Rovers 4
Game of the day in the first Division saw the only two unbeaten sides in the league go head to head in what could safely be said was a proverbial ‘six pointer’. It was Albion who came out on top in a seven goal thriller at Congleton Road . Twice Baths surrendered the lead as Albion used all their considerable experience as the oldest club in the Sunday league to sneak a victory which means the title is theirs to lose. Matt Bull gave Baths a first half lead and Anthony Byrne gave them a 2-1 advantage but it wasn’t enough as Jamie Collins with a hat-trick and Gareth Gibbons ensured the points went to Steve Walker’s men.
Sporting Kerridge 0 Boarhound 4
Free scoring Boarhound made it eight wins in ten league games with a comfortable victory against mid table Kerridge. Despite a fine penalty save from their keeper they couldn’t keep out Boarhound who secured all their victory with three first half goals. Andy Shard opened the scoring with Decland Fletcher adding two more before completing his hat-trick in the second half.
Macc Tigers 5 Chain & Gate 1
Macc Tigers secured their second victory of the season against Chain and Gate who took the lead through an Andrew Jepson strike but couldn’t hold on to their lead as Will Broster helped himself to four goals and james Allen added a fifth.
Unicorn 3 Tythy Juniors 4
A win for Unicorn must be on the cards as they continue to improve under new administration . Three times they held the lead , Chris Bann scoring all three but each time Juniors bounced back showing real character and finally snatched victory with twenty minutes remaining. Scorers for Juniors, Ryan Walker, Sam Walthall and Nick Hadfield with two.
